Spanish bullfighters achieve major successes in Villaseca and Valladolid

Recent bullfighting events in Spain saw significant performances by several matadors. In Villaseca de la Sagra, Jesús de la Calzada concluded the XXVI Alfarero de Oro cycle with a strong performance against Cuadri bulls. He earned one ear after a notable series with the fifth bull, following a high-quality but incomplete performance with the second.

In Valladolid, the Feria de San Lorenzo featured standout performances. Manuel Diosleguarde and Roca Rey were carried out on shoulders after a successful afternoon; Roca Rey earned two ears. Emilio de Justo also achieved a major milestone in Valladolid, earning three ears and his first ‘Puerta Grande’ of the San Lorenzo Fair during a performance against Vellosino bulls.

Other participants in the Valladolid festivities included Talavante, who faced difficulties with his bulls, and Morante, who struggled with a challenging lot of animals.
