Bolaños de Calatrava has announced its upcoming patron saint festivities in honor of the Santísimo Cristo de la Columna. The celebrations include a major bullfighting event scheduled for September 12 at 21:00. The mixed lineup features Víctor Puerto, who is in his retirement year, Antonio Ferrera, and the rising novillera Olga Casado. The event will use bulls from the Toros de Mollalta and Cerrolongo ranches.

To support the local hospitality sector, the town council has expanded the festive calendar to include Saturdays, September 12 and 19. A coordinated security operation involving the Guardia Civil, Local Police, and Civil Protection will be implemented to manage large crowds during the various scheduled acts and concerts.

In San Sebastián de los Reyes, recent bullfighting events at the ‘La Tercera’ arena saw significant attendance. During the closing of the Feria del Cristo de los Remedios, Olga Casado, Emiliano Osornio, and Jorge Hurtado all earned trophies. Additionally, Sebastián Castella and José María Manzanares were carried out on shoulders following a well-attended event featuring Morante de la Puebla.
