BULOG conducts nationwide market operations to stabilize rice prices

Perum BULOG has deployed personnel across Indonesia to conduct simultaneous market operations aimed at ensuring rice supply availability and maintaining stable food prices. This initiative, part of a food stabilization movement, involves direct field monitoring to anticipate potential price hikes or supply disruptions.

The operation was coordinated nationally via video conference led by BULOG President Director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani and the National Food Agency's Director of Food Availability, Maino Dwi Hartono. Field teams are tasked with checking commodity prices, availability, and distribution efficiency.

As of September 5, 2026, BULOG manages approximately 4.9 million tons of Government Rice Reserves (CBP) distributed across its national warehouse network. Additionally, the distribution of Stabilisasi Pasokan dan Harga Pangan (SPHP) rice has reached approximately 756,000 tons for the 2026 period through early September.
