Bulog conducts rice distribution and price stabilization efforts

Bulog is conducting various rice distribution operations across Indonesia to manage food security and market prices. In West Papua, the Manokwari branch is distributing 184.56 tons of food assistance via sea to 6,152 recipients in Teluk Wondama Regency. The distribution covers 13 districts, with each registered recipient receiving 30 kilograms of rice intended for the July-September 2026 period. Due to vessel capacity, the delivery is being carried out in stages.

In East Java, Bulog Malang is intervening to stabilize premium rice prices and address shortages in traditional markets. Following inspections that revealed scarcity and price spikes, Bulog has begun supplying premium rice to Bunulrejo Market and plans to distribute over 500 tons in total. This operation, supported by the Malang City Police Food Task Force, also aims to supply modern retail outlets throughout the Malang Raya region.
