BULOG partners with Wilmar Group to supply premium rice to modern retail
Perum BULOG has partnered with PT Padi Indonesia Maju, a subsidiary of the Wilmar Group, to strengthen the national rice ecosystem and enhance the availability of premium rice.
The collaboration focuses on producing high-quality premium rice to be distributed through various markets, with a specific emphasis on expanding access through modern retail networks. This initiative is part of BULOG's strategy to move beyond managing government rice reserves and food stabilization tasks by developing commercial business sectors to meet evolving consumer preferences.
During a visit to PT Padi Indonesia Maju in Serang, BULOG President Director Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani stated that the synergy aims to provide more choices for the public and ensure a consistent supply of quality products through wider distribution channels.
