Buprang Customs revenue surges due to machinery imports
Buprang Customs has reported a significant surge in budget revenue, driven largely by the importation of machinery and equipment for aluminum electrolysis projects. From July 15 to August 14, 2026, the unit processed 95 import-export declarations totaling $56.18 million, with imports accounting for $34.12 million.
Cumulative revenue from the beginning of the year through August 14 reached 703.84 billion VND, representing 201.09% of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee's target. This marks a 544.36% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Total import-export turnover for the year has reached $492.48 million, an 80.96% increase over the previous year. Key exports include aluminum oxide, aluminum hydroxide, plywood, and agricultural products, while imports consist primarily of industrial machinery, raw wood, and agricultural supplies.
