Overview

The Philippine Bureau of Customs (BOC) reported record-breaking revenue collection of ₱664.776 billion for the first eight months of 2026. This total exceeded the agency’s target of ₱659.309 billion by ₱5.467 billion and marked a 7% increase compared to the same period in 2025.

In August 2026, the BOC collected ₱81.361 billion, a 5.1% increase over August 2025. Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno noted that these results were achieved despite significant weather disturbances that caused work suspensions and disrupted trade operations across several ports and collection districts for nearly two weeks.
