Bureau of Customs Philippines hits record P757.4 billion collection
The Philippine Bureau of Customs (BOC) reported a record-breaking P757.406 billion in collections for the first nine months of 2026. This figure surpassed the agency's target for the January-to-September period by P8.913 billion, or 1.2%, and represents a 7.9% increase compared to the same period in 2025.
In September 2026 alone, the BOC collected P93.339 billion, exceeding its monthly target of P89.184 billion by 4.7%. This monthly total was also 16.3% higher than the amount collected in September 2025.
Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno attributed the growth to strengthened monitoring, improved valuation and assessment, intensified enforcement against smuggling, and modernized customs processes. The agency is now working toward an ambitious full-year revenue goal of P1 trillion.
