Burglaries reported at Swiss football clubs and a Lyon jewelry store

Multiple burglaries occurred over the recent weekend in the Morges region of Switzerland and in Lyon, France.

In Switzerland, thieves targeted the clubhouses of three football clubs—FC Tolochenaz, FC Echichens, and FC Lonay—as well as the BMX Club Echichens. The incidents took place within a five-kilometer radius. At FC Tolochenaz, intruders broke a window to steal money. At FC Lonay, thieves broke through doors and windows but failed to locate the cash register, instead stealing candy and sweets. The club intends to file a formal complaint.

In Lyon, France, four individuals targeted the Edenly jewelry store at Place des Célestins during the night of September 22 to 23. Video footage shows three suspects in black smashing the storefront with hammers before fleeing in a white Renault Clio. An investigation is currently underway to identify the suspects.
