Burkina Faso General Moussa Diallo conducts operational visit to Kaya garrison

From 29 to 31 July 2026, General Moussa Diallo, Chief of Staff of the Burkina Faso Armed Forces, carried out an operational visit to the military garrison in Kaya. The mission aimed to convey the Supreme Leader Captain Ibrahim Traoré’s message of congratulations and encouragement, and to reinforce discipline, vigilance and unity among the forces.

During the visit, General Diallo inspected troops, met with senior military and paramilitary commanders, and visited wounded soldiers at the Kaya military hospital, expressing national solidarity and wishing them a swift recovery. He also praised medical, military and civilian staff for their dedication and stressed the need for cohesion across all components of the defence and security forces.
