Burkina Faso reforestation: CFPME-B launches plant sale

The Centre de formation professionnelle aux métiers émergents Bangr-Nooma (CFPME-B) has launched a promotional campaign to support Burkina Faso’s 2026-2027 national reforestation efforts. To make tree planting more accessible, the center is offering various plant species starting at 500 FCFA until September 30, 2026.

CFPME-B president Salif Nikiéma stated that the initiative is a civic contribution intended to support the presidential initiative ‘L’heure patriotique pour reverdir le Faso’. The center’s nursery currently holds over one million plants representing approximately 100 different species, with a specific focus on preserving threatened local species to protect regional biodiversity.
