Burkina Faso Trains Female Security Forces in Leadership and AI

The Patriotic Movement Le Faso d'Abord (MPFA‑BF) launched a training program in Ouagadougou for female personnel of the Forces de Défense et de Sécurité (FDS). The sessions focus on developing leadership skills and introducing artificial‑intelligence tools for data analysis, cybersecurity and decision‑making, with the aim of strengthening command, governance and institutional performance.

Hayouba Ouattara, President of MPFA‑BF, emphasized that AI is a powerful lever for innovation but will not replace human judgment. Bayala Zalissa, representing the minister in charge of Family and Solidarity, described the initiative as an investment in human capital and called for responsible, ethical use of new technologies as the security sector adapts to digital transformation.
