Burnley manager Nicky Hayen faces pressure amid poor start

Burnley manager Nicky Hayen is facing increasing pressure following a 3-1 defeat against Swansea City. The club currently sits at the bottom of the Championship table and has yet to secure a victory since Hayen’s summer appointment.

Hayen addressed questions regarding his job security by stating, “That I do not know, you should ask the board.” He emphasized that while factors such as injuries and fitness levels impact performance, he intends to maintain his current work ethic and approach to remain sharp and energetic with the squad.

Defender Kyle Walker acknowledged the difficult situation, expressing sympathy for the manager while noting that results are the primary requirement in professional football. Walker called for the club to act as a collective to turn their form around.
