Bursa driver fined 470,000 TL after 10‑km police chase

Police in Bursa's İnegöl district pursued a 21‑year‑old motorbike driver who ignored a stop order, rode about 10 km, then abandoned the bike and continued on foot. The suspect, identified as Muhammed G., was apprehended in Süleymaniye neighbourhood. Investigators found he was driving without a licence. He was charged with multiple traffic violations, including unlicensed driving, failing to stop, endangering traffic, drifting, running a red light, unsafe lane changes, riding without a helmet, and travelling in the wrong direction. The cumulative fines amounted to 469,000 TL. His licence was seized for two months and he was taken to the police station for questioning. The case remains under investigation.
