Bursa Hungarica 2027 scholarship applications announced

Municipalities in Hungary, including Fülöpszállás and Szatymaz, have announced the call for applications for the 2027 Bursa Hungarica Higher Education Municipal Scholarship. This initiative is conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Youth.

The scholarship program is designed for students in disadvantaged social situations who maintain permanent residency within the respective municipality. There are two primary application categories:

Type A is for current higher education students enrolled in full-time undergraduate, master's, or undivided training programs within recognized institutions.

Type B is for high school seniors in their final year (2026/2027 academic year) or high school graduates who have not yet entered higher education, intended for those starting their studies in the 2027/2028 academic year.

Certain exclusions apply, such as PhD students, those studying exclusively at foreign institutions, or individuals in specific military or law enforcement training programs.
