Bursa municipality renovates ten schools ahead of new term

Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyesi has begun refurbishment work on ten schools across eight districts to prepare them for the upcoming academic year. The works, carried out by the municipality’s Fen İşleri Department in coordination with the Ministry of National Education, include interior and exterior painting, insulation, floor covering, roof repair, wet‑area renovations, landscaping, and the installation of new electrical and mechanical systems. The schools involved are Cumhuriyet Anadolu Lisesi and Sadi Etkeser Primary School (Osmangazi), İsmail Kadriye Solakoğulları Middle School and Ürünlü Primary School (Nilüfer), Çağrışan Halk Education Center (Mudanya), Barakfakih Special Education School (Kestel), Orhangazi Middle School (Orhangazi), Söylemiş Middle School (Yenişehir), Ulubatlı Hasan Primary School (Karacabey) and Ormankadı Middle School (Mustafakemalpaşa).

Deputy mayor Şahin Biba said the municipality is working with the Ministry to ensure students have healthier, safer and more comfortable learning environments and that the municipality will continue to identify and address needs in other education facilities throughout the province.
