BursaKart introduces update process for older student cards

BURULAŞ has announced a new update process for students using BursaKart in Bursa. The regulation aims to assist students holding older card designs that currently cannot be used for digital visa or subscription transactions via the website, mobile app, or kiosks.

Starting September 7, 2026, students will be able to update these older cards. If digital channels fail due to the card's design, students can visit BURULAŞ Personalization Offices to complete the update, ensuring they can continue using discounted public transport services. The update process for these specific cards is scheduled to run until December 31, 2026.
