BursaKart student card update process

Overview

BURULAŞ has implemented a new regulation for students in Bursa regarding the use of older BursaKart designs. To resolve issues with visa and subscription processes on outdated card formats, students holding older Student Discounted, Student Short Subscription, or Student Long Subscription cards can now update their existing cards rather than being required to purchase new ones.

Beginning September 7, 2026, students are encouraged to attempt visa or subscription transactions through the BursaKart website, mobile application, or kiosk devices. If the older card design prevents these digital transactions, students may visit BURULAŞ Personalization Offices for assistance. The update process is scheduled to remain available until December 31, 2026.
