Bursaspor defeats Pendikspor 2-0 as Iheanacho continues scoring streak

Bursaspor secured a 2-0 victory against Pendikspor in the 11th week of the Trendyol 1. Lig at the Atatürk Spor Kompleksi Matlı Stadium. Halil Akbunar opened the scoring in the 10th minute following an assist from Amine Boutrah. Kelechi Iheanacho extended the lead in the 62nd minute, marking his 11th goal in his 11th match. The win brings Bursaspor to 25 points, narrowing the gap with the league leaders to one point.

In a separate gesture of fan support, Bursaspor supporters responded to a comment by team captain Ertuğrul Ersoy regarding striker Kelechi Iheanacho’s fondness for watermelon.
