Bushehr Province exports $2.36 billion in goods to 32 countries

Bushehr Province customs have exported 5,101,000 tons of goods valued at $2.364 billion over the first five months of the current year. According to Ali Soleimani, the Director General and Supervisor of Bushehr Customs, these exports reached 32 different countries.

The Pars Special Economic Energy Zone accounted for the vast majority of this trade, representing 82% of the total weight and 87% of the total value. Primary export categories include petrochemical products, liquid gases, cement, clinker, various stones, and seafood such as fish and shrimp.

Notable growth was observed in specific sectors, including shrimp exports, which reached $18.5 million (a 176% increase in value and 173% increase in weight compared to the previous year). Key export destinations include China, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Turkey, India, Oman, Sri Lanka, Russia, Singapore, and Malaysia. Additionally, Qatar has become a significant trading partner, receiving over $4 million worth of various food products and construction materials.
