Bybit and A7 announce expansions in trading and international payments
Bybit CEO Ben Zhou has announced the company’s expansion from a cryptocurrency exchange into a broader financial platform. Following its growth in the contracts for difference (CFD) market, Bybit has launched stock trading for eligible users, offering access to over 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs. These trades can be conducted using USDC and include fractional shares with 24/5 access to U.S. market sessions. Additionally, the company is developing mStocks in collaboration with Mantle, a tokenized stock product expected to launch in November.
Separately, the Russian international settlement system A7, established by Bank PSB, is launching A7 International. This service allows for the payment of foreign counterparty invoices in USDT, with funds delivered via standard SWIFT bank transfers in the required currency. The service, which targets foreign trade operators and individuals, features a fixed fee of 0.3 percent. A7 currently processes approximately 2,000 transactions daily and handled roughly 19 percent of Russian companies’ cross-border trade settlements in 2025.
