BYD expands market presence with new models and regional launches

BYD is expanding its presence in various markets with new model developments and regional launches. In Romania, the company has introduced the Dolphin G DM-i, a compact electrified vehicle designed for both urban and long-distance travel. To promote the launch, BYD has partnered with Radio ZU for the ‘RadioAventura 2026’ roadshow, a 3,000-kilometer journey across 10 Romanian cities where the vehicle will be showcased to the public.

Simultaneously, BYD is updating its compact electric lineup. The BYD Seagull (known as the Dolphin Mini in Brazil) has undergone significant design and technical upgrades. Following homologation in China, the new model features increased dimensions, with a total length of 4.20 meters and a wheelbase of 2.65 meters. These changes aim to improve passenger comfort and cargo capacity. The updated model also features a more powerful motor, increasing output from 75 cv to 127 cv, and a modernized interior equipped with a 12.8-inch multimedia screen.
