BYD launches affordable Fang Cheng Bao Tai 3 SUV in China

BYD has launched a new entry-level version of the Fang Cheng Bao Tai 3 in China, priced at approximately 18,500 euros. To achieve this lower price point, the manufacturer reduced the battery capacity from 75.6 kWh to a 64.3 kWh second-generation Blade Battery.

Despite the smaller battery, the vehicle maintains high charging efficiency, capable of charging from 10% to 70% in five minutes. The Tai 3 is a large SUV, measuring 4,605 mm in length, making it comparable in size to a Toyota RAV4. The vehicle features a robust, square design aimed at family buyers and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds.

BYD's market presence is growing, with over 30,000 units delivered in the first seven months of 2026. The Tai 3 model is expected to potentially enter the Spanish market under the Denza B3 name.
