BYD opens new showroom in Pyeongtaek to expand South Korean network

BYD Korea and official dealer Samchully EV have opened a new BYD Auto showroom in Pyeongtaek to expand their sales and service network in the southern Gyeonggi region. Located approximately a three-minute walk from Pyeongtaek Jije Station, the facility provides high accessibility via public transport, including the KTX, SRT, and Seoul Subway Line 1.

The showroom spans a land area of 2,956 square meters and includes space to display up to six vehicles, 64 parking spaces, one rapid charger, and three slow chargers. This opening brings BYD Korea’s passenger vehicle showroom network to 37 locations, surpassing its initial annual target of 35.

To support the new location, Samchully EV plans to establish a nearby service center by the end of the year. This expansion aims to provide a comprehensive customer experience covering consultation, test drives, purchasing, and maintenance throughout the southern Gyeonggi area.
