BYD unveils third-generation Tang SUV at Chengdu Auto Show
BYD has unveiled the third-generation Tang at the Chengdu International Auto Show. Positioned as a large five-seat technology flagship SUV, the vehicle is expected to officially launch in the fourth quarter of 2024.
The new model features a body dimension of 5045x1980x1740mm with a wheelbase of 2950mm. It introduces an “interstellar dual-screen” system consisting of a 35.4-inch integrated far-end star ring screen and a 30-inch panoramic giant screen. For performance, the vehicle is equipped with the second-generation Blade Battery, offering a CLTC pure electric range of up to 850 kilometers and supporting fast-charging technology.
Technical specifications include the YunNian-A dual-chamber air suspension, a front double-wishbone and rear five-link independent suspension setup, and an intelligent four-wheel-drive system. The SUV also features the “God’s Eye B” laser-assisted driving system, which supports high-speed navigation, urban navigation, and intelligent parking.
