Bydgoszcz Philharmonic Expansion Contract Signed for 380 M PLN Project
On 27 July, a contract worth 380 million Polish zlotys was signed in Bydgoszcz to expand and modernise the Pomeranian Philharmonic. Polish construction firm Unibep will carry out the work.
The agreement was signed by Philharmonic director Maciej Puto, Unibep president Andrzej Sterczyński and Kuyavian‑Pomeranian Marshal Piotr Całbecki, among others. Funding comes from the regional budget and the EU “Funds for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment” (FEnIKS) programme 2021‑2027.
The three‑year project will add a new 350‑seat chamber hall, underground parking, a restaurant, exhibition space, rehearsal rooms and upgraded technical infrastructure while preserving the historic main hall’s renowned acoustics.
