Cabo San Lucas hit by flooding from Tropical Storm Marie

Tropical Storm Marie has caused significant flooding and damage in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The storm brought winds of 75 mph, impacting local buildings and services. While no deaths have been reported, the extreme weather has caused substantial destruction in the downtown area.

Musician Sammy Hagar reported that his Cabo Wabo club was affected by the storm. Hagar stated on social media that the club had closed to ensure employees could return to their families and noted that the situation appeared to be a “disaster.” The club, which has been a fixture in the city since 1990, may remain closed for several days during cleanup efforts.
