Caboolture man charged after series of armed robberies
A 28-year-old man from Mitchelton has been charged following a series of alleged armed robberies and threats in Caboolture, Queensland.
On September 8, the suspect allegedly threatened a pedestrian with a firearm on Bulloo Street to steal personal items. Shortly after, he reportedly entered a business on King Street, threatening two staff members with a firearm to demand cash. The suspect then allegedly threatened a woman with the firearm, forcing her to drive him to Dawson Street.
Police apprehended the man on Condamine Street and seized a firearm. He faces multiple charges, including three counts of deprivation of liberty, three counts of common assault, armed robbery, robbery, and unlawful entry of a vehicle. He was scheduled to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on September 9.
