Cadillac Lyriq 2027 details revealed for Australia

The 2027 Cadillac Lyriq specifications have been detailed for the Australian market. For the 2027 model year (MY27), Cadillac will offer a single Sport AWD variant, pending the future release of a high-performance Lyriq-V.

The updated Sport AWD model features a revised powertrain that increases torque to 720Nm, improving 0-100km/h acceleration from 5.3 seconds to 4.9 seconds. However, the nickel manganese cobalt (NMC) lithium-ion battery capacity has decreased from 102kWh to 92kWh, resulting in a lower WLTP driving range of 503km compared to the previous 530km. Additionally, DC charging capacity has been reduced from 190kW to 130kW.

Despite the smaller battery, energy efficiency has improved to 20.2kWh/100km. Other updates include the addition of lane centering and traffic sign recognition, an upgraded 23-speaker AKG Studio sound system with Dolby Atmos, and a reduction in the total airbag count to six.
