Cadiwoman performs as opening act for Shakira in Madrid

The Cádiz-based street musical group Cadiwoman performed as opening acts for Shakira at Macondo Park in Madrid. The all-female ensemble, which specializes in street carnival music, used the platform to share their feminist messages through humor and song.

Led by Susana Ginesta, the group transitioned from the streets of Cádiz to the international stage of Shakira’s residency. The performance included a one-hour pre-show on the Macondo Tree stage. This event marks a significant milestone for the group, which has been active since 2009 and focuses on social commentary through the traditional Cádiz chirigota format.
