Cadu de Lula campaigns in Caicó and proposes health reforms

Cadu de Lula, a candidate for the governorship of Rio Grande do Norte, held a large political mobilization in Caicó. The event, described as a significant campaign moment in the Seridó region, featured supporters and political leaders gathered to express support for his candidacy.

As part of his platform, Cadu de Lula proposed the “Saúde na Hora Certa” program to improve public health services. Key initiatives include increasing state health spending from the current 12% to between 15% and 16%, implementing telemedicine to provide specialist consultations via mobile devices, and establishing regional diagnostic centers. The plan aims to reduce waiting lists and minimize the need for patients to travel to Natal by strengthening regional hospitals and decentralizing exams and elective surgeries.
