Cajeme restores electricity supply after severe storms

Electricity supply has been almost entirely restored in Cajeme, Sonora, following heavy rains and strong winds that damaged local infrastructure. Sonora Governor Alfonso Durazo Montaño reported that the power restoration was achieved through coordinated efforts with the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE).

The storm caused significant damage, including fallen utility poles, trees, and billboards, as well as flooding in various sectors of Ciudad Obregón. While service has been largely recovered, the CFE stated that personnel will continue working in the area to reinforce the electrical infrastructure that was compromised by the weather conditions.
