Calanchi-Turrini Prize launched to support cooperative culture research

The fourth edition of the Luciano Calanchi and Adriano Turrini Prize for cooperative culture has been launched. Promoted by Legacoop Bologna, Fondazione Ivano Barberini, and Fondazione Unipolis, the initiative aims to support university research regarding cooperative economy, its principles, and its values.

The prize is open to recent graduates and doctoral students from all Italian universities. It seeks to encourage academic research into the role of cooperation amidst contemporary transformations, including ecological transition, artificial intelligence, labor changes, economic democracy, and social innovation.

A total of 23,000 euros will be awarded across three categories: the best Master's thesis, the best doctoral thesis, and comparative studies on cooperation that include a period of stay abroad. Applications must be submitted by November 8, 2026.
