California home prices surge to record levels amid rising homeowner concerns

In California, several metros top the Zillow Home Values Index, featuring cities such as San Marino ($2.84 million), Menlo Park ($2.88 million), and Laguna Beach ($3.03 million). The data show strong one‑year gains of 5‑7% and five‑year increases exceeding 30% in many of these markets.
