Call of Duty: Black Ops II tops July 2026 PlayStation Store rankings

Sony Interactive Entertainment has released the PlayStation Store download rankings for July 2026. The standout performer is Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which secured the top spot in both the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 categories. This success follows the surprise release of the title on current-generation consoles on July 10, 2026, through a partnership between Treyarch and Iron Galaxy Studios.

On the PlayStation 5 platform, Palworld ranked second, followed by Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2026 in third. The PlayStation 4 rankings saw Black Ops II leading, with Powerful Pro Yakyuu 2026-2027 and Monster Hunter: World taking the second and third positions, respectively.

In other categories, Beat Saber maintained its first-place position on PlayStation VR2, while eFootball continued to lead the free-to-play rankings. The rankings for Black Ops II were consistent across Japan, the United States, and Canada, highlighting the significant interest in the 2012 title's recent port.
