Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 reveals campaign teaser and Kill Block mode

Activision and Infinity Ward have released new details regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. A recent teaser for the single-player campaign confirms the return of character Valeria Garza, who will form an alliance with Captain Price during a mission set in Paris. The campaign involves a search for an artillery system known as “Archer” amidst the hunt for Makarov.

In multiplayer development, the companies showcased an alpha build of the “Kill Block” mode at Fanatics Fest. This mode utilizes modular building blocks to create maps, promising hundreds of different configurations. Developers noted that early player testing helped identify technical bugs, such as an issue involving smoke grenades and DMRs.

The game is scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Players who pre-order will receive seven days of early access to story content.
