Callum Turner Denies Knowledge of James Bond Casting

British actor Callum Turner, 36, addressed persistent speculation that he is being considered for the next James Bond. In interviews he said, “I know as much as you do — really, I know as much as you do,” and added, “I genuinely know nothing.” Turner confirmed he has not been involved in any casting discussions following Daniel Craig’s departure from the role.

Amazon MGM Studios, which now controls the franchise, announced that the search for a new lead is under way, with casting director Nina Gold and a production team that includes director Denis Villeneuve and writer Steven Knight. The studio said it will share updates when the time is right. Fellow actor George Clooney praised Turner’s work but did not confirm any casting decision.
