Calp approves municipal housing prices for youth
The Calp City Council has unanimously approved a regulatory ordinance to set public prices for two municipal housing units located on Santa Teresa Street. These properties are scheduled to be made available to the public in 2027.
The housing is specifically intended for individuals between the ages of 18 and 35. The initial monthly rent is set at 300 euros, with a guarantee that the cost will not exceed 30% of the net income of the assigned person or household.
To qualify, applicants must have been registered as residents in Calp for at least three years, must not own any other property, and must meet specific income limits. Contracts will initially last one year and can be renewed annually for a maximum of five years. The rehabilitation of these properties was funded by a subsidy obtained by the council in December 2022.
