Caltanissetta prosecutor places missing sisters in community care

Two young sisters, aged 8 and 12, who recently went missing in San Cataldo, have been found and placed in a community center alongside their four siblings. This decision was made by the Caltanissetta juvenile prosecutor's office as an urgent protective measure under Article 403 of the civil code to ensure the immediate safety and well-being of the minors while awaiting further court determinations.

Juvenile prosecutor Rocco Cosentino issued a warning regarding the risks of the internet, noting that while social media is a part of young people's lives, it carries dangers such as cyberbullying, grooming, and the uncontrolled spread of personal images. He urged families, schools, and institutions to educate youth on the real-world consequences of their online actions and encouraged minors to speak to trusted adults if they feel uncomfortable or threatened online.
