Calvin Harris headlines Rock in Rio and announces Australian tour

Calvin Harris has achieved a milestone at the Rock in Rio festival, becoming the first DJ to headline and close the Palco Mundo stage. This event marks a significant moment for electronic music within the 41-year history of the festival, which first introduced a dedicated electronic music area in 2001.

In addition to his festival success, Harris has announced his first dedicated Australian headline tour scheduled for February 2027. The tour will consist of four major outdoor performances in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. While Harris has performed in Australia for over 15 years, previous appearances were primarily as part of festivals or supporting other artists.
