Calvin Harris to headline Palco Mundo at Rock in Rio 2026

Scottish DJ Calvin Harris is set to headline the Palco Mundo stage at Rock in Rio 2026 this Sunday, September 6. His performance marks a significant moment for the festival, as he is the first DJ to hold the headliner position on the venue's largest stage.

Harris's set is expected to feature major hits such as ‘Summer’, ‘One Kiss’, ‘Feel So Close’, and ‘This Is What You Came For’. He will share the Sunday lineup with other notable artists including Black Eyed Peas, Nelly, Barão Vermelho, Ne-Yo, and BaianaSystem. The festival's Sunday programming spans various genres, including pop, rock, R&B, and electronic music.

Before achieving global stardom, Harris worked various service jobs, including in supermarkets and a fish market, to fund his early music production in his home studio in Dumfries, Scotland. His appearance in Rio follows previous international festival performances in Madrid and Las Vegas.
