Healthcare infrastructure projects advance in San Marino and Italy
Several regional healthcare infrastructure projects are advancing across San Marino and Italy. In San Marino, the Borgo Maggiore Health Center is preparing to return to its renovated headquarters at the Ex International site. The 450-square-meter facility has been reorganized to include seven medical offices, a waiting room, and specialized technical spaces to improve local medical services.
In Italy, construction has officially begun in Bra, Piedmont, for a new Community House and Community Hospital within the former Santo Spirito complex. This project is part of a broader 5-billion-euro regional plan to strengthen territorial healthcare.
Additionally, critical infrastructure work has been launched for the new Sibaritide Hospital. A 2.3-million-euro project has been awarded to connect the future hospital to the Boscarello purification plant, a necessary step to ensure the facility can manage wastewater and become operational as construction nears completion.
