Healthcare infrastructure development in Italy and San Marim

Overview

Healthcare infrastructure projects are progressing across Italy and San Marino. In Italy, construction efforts are underway for several facilities. In La Spezia, the Felettino hospital has surpassed the halfway mark of its nine-floor construction, with officials targeting a January 2028 completion. In the Sibaritide region, the new Ospedale della Sibaritide in Corigliano-Rossano has faced administrative scrutiny regarding site access and timeline clarity; however, a 2.3-million-euro project has since been awarded to connect the facility to the Boscarello purification plant to ensure operational capacity. Additionally, work has commenced in Bra, Piedmont, for a new Community House and Community Hospital as part of a 5-billion-euro regional healthcare plan.

In San Marino, the Borgo Maggiore Health Center is preparing to relocate to its renovated 450-square-meter headquarters at the Ex International site, featuring seven medical offices and specialized technical spaces.
