Cameroon coach David Pagou announces squad for Namibia matches

Cameroon national team coach David Pagou has unveiled a 28-man squad for the upcoming double confrontation against Namibia, which serves as part of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) qualifiers.

Pagou emphasized a philosophy of physical readiness and long-term project coherence. This approach led to the exclusion of Christian Kofane, the Bayer Leverkusen attacker, as the technical staff opted not to rush his return to ensure he is fully operational for high-level competition.

Among the notable inclusions is Eyango Priso, a winger from Colombe Sportive du Dja et Lobo. Priso’s selection follows strong performances in the CAF Champions League preliminary rounds, marking a significant milestone in his career as he joins the Lions Indomptables to gain experience at the international level.
