Cameroon national football team preparations

Overview

Cameroon national team coach David Pagou is preparing for upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Namibia. Pagou is positioned to set new coaching records for the national team if he secures two victories during the November international window.

Pagou has announced a 28-man squad for the double confrontation. The selection emphasizes physical readiness and long-term project coherence, resulting in the exclusion of Bayer Leverkusen attacker Christian Kofane to avoid rushing his return. Notable inclusions include winger Eyango Priso, following his performances in the CAF Champions League preliminary rounds.
