Camilo Pérez and Óscar “Piriki” Rodríguez Meet Asunción Leaders to Consolidate Campaign

Camilo Pérez, the Lista 1 candidate for mayor of Asunción, and council hopeful Óscar “Piriki” Rodríguez met with city leaders at the Cooperativa de las Fuerzas Armadas (COFAN). The gathering also included deputy José Rodríguez.

The candidates thanked the local leadership and emphasized that internal party contests were over, urging unity behind Lista 1 to transform the capital. They pledged to improve municipal finances, restore management capacity, and address daily problems such as potholes, cleanliness, safety and modernisation across all 68 neighbourhoods, planning direct contact with residents and productive sectors.

The meeting underscored a coordinated push in the run‑up to the October general elections, with Pérez promising a transparent and accountable administration for Asunción.
