Camilo Pérez unifies Lista 1 for Asunción mayoral campaign

Camilo Pérez, the candidate for mayor of Asunción representing Lista 1, has met with coordinators from the Causa Republicana movement to consolidate party unity ahead of the October 2026 municipal elections. The movement is led by Arnaldo Samaniego, who is currently serving as the campaign coordinator for Lista 1.

During the meeting, José Plate, who is running for city council under Lista 1, Option 6, emphasized the importance of working together to transform the capital. The coalition aims to focus on digitalization, transparency, and governance. Pérez stated that the campaign seeks to present “new and clean faces” to change the city and encourage citizens to utilize public spaces.
