Caminhos de Fátima partners meet in Mealhada to define tourism future

The II Partners Meeting of the Caminhos de Fátima will take place in Mealhada on September 17 at the Espaço Inovação. Organized by the Associação Caminhos de Fátima (ACF) in partnership with Turismo de Portugal, the Centro Nacional de Cultura, the Municipality of Mealhada, and Regional Tourism Entities, the event aims to evaluate current progress and define strategies to strengthen the pilgrimage routes as a structured tourism product.

A central component of the meeting is the signing of a Collaboration Agreement between the ACF, Turismo de Portugal, the Centro Nacional de Cultura, and Regional Tourism Entities to formalize a joint commitment to the promotion and valorization of the network. Discussions will include the role of international workshops and tourism fairs in promoting religious tourism, as well as the challenges of enhancing the pilgrim experience and managing the routes within the Mealhada municipality.
