Caminos del Plata assumes 20-year concession for Argentina's Routes 9 and 188

Caminos del Plata, a company linked to the Corven Group and operating under Creditech S.A. and Plantel S.A., has assumed a 20-year private concession for the 'Tramo Portuario Sur' (South Port Section) of Argentina's national road network.

The concession covers approximately 636.75 kilometers of strategic routes used for agro-industrial transport. This includes 164.19 kilometers of National Route 9, stretching from Campana to the border between Buenos Aires and Santa Fe, and 472.56 kilometers of National Route 188, connecting San Nicolás to Realicó in La Pampa.

The agreement includes responsibilities for maintenance and administration. Changes to the toll system will be implemented; while the Zárate toll on Route 9 is expected to transition exclusively to the Telepase system, new toll stations will be added to the Route 188 corridor at De la Peña, Ameghino, and Benito Larroudé.
