Campania allocates 750,000 euros for Campi Flegrei housing relief

The Campania regional government has launched a 750,000 euro extraordinary measure to support families affected by the bradysism emergency in the Campi Flegrei area. The funds, drawn from the regional housing emergency fund, aim to increase the availability of private rental housing through agreed-rate contracts (canone concordato).

The initiative targets families forced to leave their homes due to seismic events on July 31. To encourage landlords, the program offers a one-time lump sum payment consisting of a fixed 2,500 euro amount plus a variable portion equal to 25% of the IMU tax for each year of the contract. To qualify, landlords must register a contract lasting at least three years with families who were habitually residing in homes declared uninhabitable or evacuated following the seismic activity. Transitory contracts are excluded.

The resources will be allocated to the municipalities of Pozzuoli, Bacoli, Monte di Procida, and Naples. These municipalities will manage the application procedures directly. Additionally, a specific regional website will be launched in collaboration with ACER to advertise available housing.
